The Core Curriculum
The core courses include science, social studies (humanities), English/reading and Spanish or French. Support is available for students who need a little extra help.
The Allied Arts Curriculum
The Allied Arts courses typically include: visual arts, family and consumer science (FACS), technology education—including Gateway to Technology (GTT), the middle level curriculum of the Project Lead the Way Engineering program, health education, AVID, physical education, band, choir and orchestra.
More Time in the Core Areas
Robbinsdale Middle School added more instructional time to give students more opportunities to learn in core areas. This will benefit all students, and will provide time for additional support and enrichment based upon individual needs and strengths.
RMS offers clubs and other activities, such as: chess club, fall play, math club, multi-cultural club, National Junior Honor Society, Peer Mentors, school newspaper, student leadership committee, spring musical and yearbook. Sporting options available are: basketball, soccer, step team, track and field, volleyball, wrestling and more with High School Cooperative
Athletics. After-school transportation is available.
