Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030

At its May 20 meeting, the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team studied the condition and capacity of Rdale’s school buildings—ranking facilities based on data and discussing how to align future investments with instructional priorities and long-term sustainability.

Robbinsdale Area Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Meals will be provided to children ages 1 year through 18 years without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

2025 Spring Powwow

The beat of the drum echoed through Robbinsdale on May 10, as vibrant regalia, spirited dancing, and powerful songs brought the annual spring powwow to life—courtesy of the Rdale American Indian Education Program.

Isolated Power Outages

UPDATE at 8:35 a.m.: Power has been restored to Forest Elementary and FAIR School Crystal. 

Three of our buildings are currently experiencing power outages—Forest Elementary, FAIR School Crystal, and Crystal Learning Center, which houses the Robbinsdale Transition Center. Most of our schools have backup generators, which are running and providing basic power.

2025 Spring Powwow

The Robbinsdale Area Schools Indian Education Program is hosting our annual spring powwow on May 10. All members of the community are invited to attend this free event and experience singing, dancing, drumming, and other honored traditions.

Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030

At its April meeting, the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team explored school safety infrastructure and what great teaching looks like in every classroom—aligning efforts to create safe, engaging, and empowering learning environments for all Rdale students.

WEB recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year is underway! All 7th grade students are eligible to apply. WEB leaders are students who step up to help others and work to create a warm, welcoming environment at RMS. 

WEB leaders are required to attend half-day summer training to prepare for the welcome of grade 6 students to our school. Transportation is not provided, but WEB teacher leaders will assist in coordinating carpools as needed in August.

Chromebook Collection: All students will turn in their Chromebook, case, and charger this year. Below are the dates for collection by grade:

  • Grade 6 - Wednesday, May 28
  • Grade 7 - Friday, May 30
  • Grade 8 - Monday, June 2
  • Please return all library books no later than May 21st.
