From our library to yours! The RMS Library invites families to take home our previously loved books to create your own library at home! 

Join us for a Love of Books celebration on May 18, 19, and 20th in conjunction with the RMS Spring Concert series, from 4:30-6pm. Enjoy the music and then join us in the RMS Library (on the second floor) to take home books. 

We hope to see you there!

Yearbooks will be distributed on Friday, May 29th. 

MCA Testing this week! Wednesday, April 8-9. Remember to

• bring your charged Chromebook!
• get a good night's sleep, and
• bring corded headphones if you have them. 

Our Lost and Found is overflowing - come and grab your items . Any items left over will be donated. Lots of coats!

Registration for RMS Boys and Girls Track is now OPEN! The season will run from April 6 - May 21. All 6th-8th graders are welcome as long as you do not have more than 1 NC in your current classes. Rdale is launching a new phase of community engagement this spring as part of Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030, including an April 27 Community Conversation. These efforts expand opportunities to learn, share input, and help shape the district’s future.

Join us for the Spring Musical, Beetlejuice Jr. on Friday, May 1 at 7pm and Saturday, May 2 at 2pm and 7pm.

AVID 2026-2027 Enrolling now for 6th & 7th graders! 

AVID is now recruiting NEW-TO-AVID students for next year. 6th and 7th graders may now apply. AVID presentations will occur in Culture & Identity courses Tuesday, March 17th. Information can be found on the student's grade level Schoology page, district website, or their Culture and Identity Schoology course.

At its March 16, 2026, meeting, the Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education continued discussion on long-range facilities planning as part of Phase II of Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030.

We are writing to share an update about the temporary online learning option that was offered beginning in January. This option will end on Friday, March 27, which is the last day of school before Spring Break.

At its March 2 meeting, the Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education approved a calendar adjustment for the 2025-26 school year affecting K-8 students.

As part of a culture of academic integrity, we would like to remind families and students of the importance of test security.

At its March 2, 2026, meeting, the Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education provided early direction on Phase II of the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 process, signaling support for continued planning toward a one-high-school model centered on renovating and repurposing existing district facilities.

Last year, Robbinsdale Area Schools asked our community a simple but important question: What should education and our schools look like in the years ahead? 

Through Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030, we listened carefully to students, families and staff about what matters most as we build the school district our students want, need and deserve. Those conversations were honest, thoughtful and sometimes difficult, but they were exactly what our district needed to begin shaping a stronger future together.

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college and career readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college. 

Students who wish to enroll in AVID in high school for elective credit MUST reapply. Applications due March 6.
