Let’s talk. School social workers are a good place to start when you want to talk through a concern. Parenting is a lot of work and we’re here to support you.
If your child (ages 5–18) experiences a mental, behavioral, or emotional issue that leaves you overwhelmed and unsure of what to do, Hennepin County is here to help. No situation is too small for our family response experts.

• – Immediate in-person response within one hour anywhere in Hennepin County.
• – Available to families with children ages 5–18 at no cost.
• – Driven by your family’s cultural, community, and clinical needs.

RMS has two School Social Workers available to assist with many concerns including attendance, school adjustment, friendship skills, housing needs and other resources, family crises, and mental health. If your family is experiencing homelessness please let us know so we can assist and support.
