GET READY

Get Ready

Get Ready is a federally-funded postsecondary readiness program administered through the Minnesota Office of Higher Education. The program helps students from low-income backgrounds, indigenous communities, and communities of color realize their aspirations through education and career advancement. Get Ready operates in middle and high schools across multiple districts in Minnesota.

Get Ready uses a community-based approach to postsecondary readiness, engaging with students, their families, the educators that support their learning, and the stakeholders that are invested in their long-term success.

Using a collective impact framework, Get Ready enables students, families, school staff and community partners to work collaboratively to increase schools’ capacity to:

• Create and deliver high-impact postsecondary readiness programming

• Use data to drive continuous improvement

• Effectively leverage key postsecondary resources

• Make the systemic changes necessary to sustain a college-going culture
